The MI Mineral Insulated heating cable is the metallic wire core (the heat body), the mineral magnesium oxide (the insulation layer) closely surrounded by the wire core, and the metal tube (usually stainless steel, 825 alloy, etc.). MI mineral insulated heating cable is suitable for industrial or construction field of anti-freezing and process medium insulation and temperature rise, especially need high output power or need to withstand high temperature steam purge, long-term working at high temperature of the pipeline, in the requirements of anti-corrosion and explosion-proof environment, MI mineral insulated heating cable can show excellent characteristics.
Features and advantages
  1. Because the heating cable is composed of non-combustion inorganic matter, so the product fire prevention, flame retardant.
  2. High temperature resistance, the temperature limit of the heating cable itself is the highest temperature that the core and the metal outer sheath layer bear.
  3. Stainless steel sheathed series mineral insulated heating cable can meet the high temperature conditions and high heating power (up to 250W/m) needs. The maximum temperature of the stainless steel sheathed heating cable can withstand 600ºC. The mineral insulated cable has excellent mechanical strength and corrosion resistance.
